About Citations

Our History

The Citations are a nationally competitive Drum and Bugle Corps. Plans for the 2012 Drum Corps International competitive season are underway now. Citations are open to any interested student, age 14-21, interested in joining our Brass, Percussion or Color Guard sections. Prior experience is not needed, just a willingness to learn and compete!

In 2009, Citations earned a Bronze medal at the DCI Open Class World Championship, and won its second consecutive top color guard award. Despite being inactive fro the 2010 and 2011 seasons, Citations are currently moving towards a return to the competitive field for 2012, and plan on building on this winning tradition. Founded in 1967, Citations are one of the oldest active Drum and Bugle Corps in the Northeast.
